Lancôme Introduces The New Génifique Ultimate Serum

Lancôme shares a new seurm, designed to repair and heal the skin. This new treatment serum—the Génifique Ultimate—promises to repair a year’s worth of skin issues within a week. That’s a big undertaking, but Lancôme seems to be just the brand that could do it. This mighty serum is power-packed with 90 trillion beta-glucans in one dropper, plus it contains licorice extract and hyaluronic acid. Beta-glucans are an ingredient that have shown to accelerate recovery and restore the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Even in Singapore’s weather, most of us still suffer from dehydrated—not dry—complexions, and this serum can help to reinvigorate your skin. If you want to try the product out for yourself, you can head to the special pop-up located at Ngee Ann City. Not only will you be able to test out the product for yourself, you will also be able to get a closer look at the rest of Lancôme’s skincare treatments, and walk away with a 7-day Génifique Ultimate trial kit.

The Lancôme Génifique Ultimate Spaceship Pop-up is open from now till 20 September outside Ngee Ann City.

Dyson’s First-Ever Styling Product Range: Chitosan

Dyson may be well-known and loved for their incredible hair-styling tools—the AirWrap, the AirStrait Straightener and the Supersonic—but now they’re stepping into a whole new world. Introducing the brand’s first hair styling product range: Chitosan.

The range includes the Pre-Style Cream and the Post-Style Serum, imbued with oyster mushroom extract. Chitosan, a powerful macromolecule that gives oyster mushrooms their distinctive form and feel, fuels the new Dyson products, for a flexible, all-day hold that doesn’t feel crunchy or stiff. The Pre-Style Cream comes in different iterations, for different types of hair, and different conditioning needs. This product works great to prime and prep the strands for any incoming heat, while also enabling your style to last longer throughout the day. The Post-Style Serum, on the other hand, reduces frizz and defines each lock of hair so your ‘do looks camera-ready all day.

Diptyque Unveils Five New Fragrances For Its Les Essences De Diptyque Collection

As part of its Les Essences De Diptyque line, the French perfume house has unveiled five new scents inspired by natural elements. And while one might first think of flowers in perfumery, the new collection taps some of the most unexpected natural ingredients as inspiration. Elements such as bark, mother of pearl and coral are incorporated into the new fragrances, serving as a new way to appreciate Mother Nature’s gifts to us.

Each fragrance is wonderfully complex and poetic, without being too loud or overwhelming. My top two picks of the line were the Lilyphéa and Rose Roche Eaux de Parfum. The former is a clean, green fragrance that carries light notes of vanilla for some sweetness, making it the perfect everyday scent. Meanwhile, the Rose Roche EDP pays homage to the desert rose. Delicious notes of lemon, centifolia rose and patchouli are combined to form a warm olfactory experience.

Paula’s Choice Introduces Pro Retinaldehyde Treatment

If you’ve been taking care of your skin, chances are, you’re already familiar with retinoids. You probably have incorporated retinol into your routine, but did you know that not all retinoids are the same? Different retinoids are known for being more robust and more concentrated—usually, this means they allow for greater conversion on the skin into retinoic acid. Retinoic acid is necessary for our skin and cells to develop and regenerate. This helps you to maintain a more youthful, radiant complexion.

Enter Paula’s Choice’s Pro Retinaldehyde Treatment. It contains near-prescription-strength retinoic acid, which allows for maximum efficacy, so you can achieve that inner glow quicker and with fewer steps in your skincare regime. Another great thing about this product? In spite of its strength and concentration in retinoic acid, it doesn’t interfere with or damage the skin when you use it in conjunction with other products.

Paula’s Choice Clinical Pro Retinaldehyde Treatment is available at paulaschoice.sg. It will also be available at selected Sephora stores, in-app, and on sephora.sg from 12 September.

The Ordinary Unveils Its First-Ever Body Care Line

Canadian skincare label The Ordinary has just launched its first range of body care products. The brand, which is known for its highly effective, but still affordable line of skincare goodies has ventured into body care with three new products. Launching the Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum, Niacinamide 5% Face & Body Emulsion and Natural Moisturizing Factors + Inulin Body Lotion, these are the newest goodies that feature The Ordinary’s favourite ingredients—salicylic acid and niacinamide.

With Singapore’s weather acting up lately, our skin is in need of some TLC, now more than ever. Excess heat can lead to bacne and a buildup of bacteria on the skin, while humidity caused by the rain can trigger allergens and rashes. So if your skin is sending out distress signals to you these days, it’s time to pop by Sephora to give them a try.

Dr.Jart+’s New Vital Hydra Solution Line

You may know Dr.Jart+ for their viral Cryo Rubber masks, but that’s not all that the Korean skincare brand has to offer. Dr.Jart+ combines the philosophies of dermatological technology with the playfulness of art, and now, the label has launched a new range that will give you a plumper complexion. With a lightweight, jelly-type formula, the Vital Hydration Solution line is perfect for Singapore’s humid climate. Plus, the gentle ingredients in the formulations make both the Treatment Essence and Water Cream work well on all skin types.

To celebrate this launch, Dr.Jart+ is holding a café takeover at Lola’s Café, along with a special seasonal menu. Drop by the Holland Village café to get up close and personal with the new products, and take part in a spin-the-wheel activity where you can win vouchers.

The Dr.Jart+ Lola’s Café takeover is open from now till 30 September.

Burberry Beauty Launches Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense

You might be familiar with Burberry Beauty’s Goddess Eau de Parfum. But now it’s time to meet the new younger sister to the scent: Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum Intense. The original fragrance contains three vanillas, but the intense version is amped up with the addition of a new vanilla wood. Smoky, ambery and woody, the intense variation also sits beautifully with the perfume’s lavender essence.

The fragrance campaign for Burberry Goddess is fronted by British-French actor Emma Mackey. Surrounded by a pack of lionesses, she runs through a field, embodying the elegance and strength of a goddess. The original fragrance is centred on inner self-discovery, while the new intense EDP is empowered and ready to take on the world.

From now till 8 September, you can visit The Burberry Goddess Eau De Parfum Intense pop-up at Paragon from 10am – 9.30pm.

With FragranceTok becoming a staple in any beauty girl’s regular Tiktok For Your Page, it doesn’t come as a surprise when more and more people are labelling themselves fragrance connoisseurs. So with the cooler months fast approaching, you can try on Penhaligon’s new The Dandy Eau De Parfum on for size. Inspired by the rich, woody notes of whisky, The Dandy invites you to visit a bygone era: a 1920s bar where booze and smoke run free and wild. The fragrance carries notes of bourbon, bergamot and raspberry—for a fruity little twist that brightens up the scent. It’s the masculine counterpart to the label’s Juniper Sling scent, that pays homage to a complex gin cocktail.

Penhaligon’s The Dandy Eau de Parum is available exclusively at Penhaligon’s boutiques island-wide.

Kenzo’s Flower La Récolte Parisienne Eau de Parfum

In the world of fragrances, there has always been talks about sustainability efforts. From the use of synthetic ingredients—which have their own complications and effects on the environment—to the ethical and sustainable sourcing of plant varieties, the fragrance industry is stepping things up.

But have you heard of a floral fragrance that can capture the essence of a flower without even picking it? What seems like a faraway dream is now a reality, as seen in the new Flower La Récolte Parisienne Eau de Parfum. The fragrance of precious pink dahlias are captured under a glass cloche, and the scent is recreated by perfumers, redefining what contemporary naturalness in a fragrance really is. In addition to the bouquet of floral accords, the perfume also contains notes of musk, yellow mandarin, pink pepper, for a balanced scent that feels powdery yet fresh on the nose.

The Flower By Kenzo La Récolte Parisienne can be purchased in Takashimaya, Metro Paragon and BHG from 1 September, and in Sephora from 12 September.
