Love is in the air, and with these new beauty launches in the month of February, it’s love at first sight. From a solid stick perfume that you can take on your next couple’s retreat with your beau, to an ultra-gentle cream cleanser that won’t dry your skin out, these are the beauty products to know—and love—this month.

La Prairie Reformulates Its Skin Caviar Liquid Lift

No beauty label embodies the pinnacle of luxury quite like La Prairie. The renowned Swiss skincare brand, known for its potent caviar bead products, has reformulated its iconic Skin Caviar Liquid Lift. First launched in 2012, the new formula features a new active ingredient—caviar micro-nutrients— in addition to the caviar premier, caviar absolute and the brand’s proprietary Exclusive Cellular Complex™ found in previous iterations. Combined, all these ingredients slows signs of ageing on the skin, and also help to revitalise dull complexions.

To enjoy the full lifting benefits of the serum, indulge yourself with a simple facial massage. Forming a V-shape with your index and middle fingers, gently sculpt the face upwards after applying the product, focusing on your jawline, cheekbones and eyebrows for an instant lift.

More information on La Prairie’s new Skin Caviar Liquid Lift (available in 30ml and 50ml) can be found here.

Aesop’s New Aurner Eau de Parfum

The new Aurner fragrance from Aesop reinterprets traditional floral accords in scents. Photo: Courtesy of Aesop.

The newest addition to Aesop’s fragrance line is an experimental take on floral perfumes. Instead of using the traditional blooms of the magnolia, the eau de parfum utilises the leaves of the magnolia plant, imbuing the scent with a green, almost metallic note. Roman chamomile and cedar heart also permeate the genderless fragrance, injecting it with a woody and earthy tone. The nose behind this fragrance is Céline Barel, who also created the label’s Tacit scent back in 2015.

Floral and powdery upon first whiff, the scent transforms as it settles onto the skin. On my skin, the fragrance leaned more deeply into its sweet geranium notes, before it opened up to an airy finish.

Aesop’s Aurner Eau de Parfum will be available at Aesop signature stores and online.

Drunk Elephant’s Mello Marula™ Cream Cleanser

Drunk Elephant, the clean skincare label hailing from Texas, has released an exciting new cleanser: the Mello Marula™ Cream Cleanser. With an ultra-gentle formula, this cleanser removes water-resistant makeup, sunscreen and impurities on the skin with just one wash, thanks to the addition of antioxidant-rich colloidal oatmeal. Rather than strip the skin of its natural oils, the non-foaming formula—infused with hydrating Marula™ oil—works great on sensitive and dry complexions. Plus, the Mello Marula™ Cream Cleanser doubles up as a soothing shaving cream that can be used all over the body.

The Mello Marula™ Cream Cleanser from Drunk Elephant is exclusively available at Sephora and Sephora.sg.

Containing three premium black bee honeys, the new Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil Serum from Guerlain is a must-have serum. With a light watery, oil-based formulation, the serum settles quickly into the skin, but not without providing a boost of hydration through silky micro-beads. Powered by the revitalising strengths of Connemara honey from Ireland, the serum instantly rejuvenates and revives the skin barrier and improves elasticity by stimulating skin cells on the face.

Guerlain’s Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil Serum retails for $228.

Founded by beauty content creator Liah Yoo, KraveBeauty has just released its first ever makeup product. The beauty label has always been grounded by its ‘less is more’ motto that focuses on using potent, science-backed products that minimise the need for lengthy skincare regimens. And now with the debut of its Plumptuous Lip Jelly, a skincare-infused lip oil, the brand is making its first foray into makeup products. The hydrating lip jelly, crafted with sustainable ingredients and packaging, comes in four wearable shades. Our favourite is Guava Blush, a soft pink that works on virtually every skin tone.

KraveBeauty’s Plumptuous Lip Jelly and its refills can be purchased from Sephora and Sephora.sg.

Hourglass Cosmetics’s Vegan Red 0 Lip Balm

Since the brand’s inception in 2004, Hourglass Cosmetics has been at the forefront of sustainable, cruelty-free makeup. And it’s taking this ethos a step further, with the development of Red 0, the brand’s proprietary vegan red pigment. Traditionally, carmine, which colours the beauty industry’s regular red products, is derived from crushed female insects. The label’s fan-favourite lip balm, the Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, is now proudly made with Red 0. Its formula stays the same—buildable, hydrating and plumping, sans any harsh prickly sensations.

Hourglass Cosmetics’s Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm in Red 0 is available at Sephora stores, in-app, and online at Sephora.sg.
