When Thitiya Jirapornsilp, better known as Baipor, speaks about her craft, there is a lightness to her voice—an unguarded sincerity that makes you forget she is one of Thailand’s most-watched young actresses. “I’ve loved being on stage since I was a little girl,” she shares.

“My first memory was performing in a kindergarten play. Who would’ve thought that that same little girl would, at 17, be given an unbelievable chance to play a leading role that would end up changing her life forever?” (For the uninitiated, the role in question is that of identical twin sisters in the critically acclaimed 2023 film You & Me & Me, Baipor’s silver screen debut that jump-started her acting career.)

That chance came courtesy of GDH, the powerhouse Thai studio that recognised her spark early on. Since then, the 20-year-old has evolved from ingénue to one of the most compelling new faces in Thai cinema; an actress who approaches each role with equal parts grace and grit.

“Being human is completely complicated,” she muses. “My recent character, Ingkawan (in the 2025 Thai horror film Host), is one of the hardest I’ve ever played. There are so many layers to her and to make people believe in her, I had to understand her as deeply as possible.”

Next on her slate is the upcoming Girls’ Love (GL) Thai drama Be My Angel, a supernatural rom-com where she will star alongside actress Bambam Niwirin. The series explores romance, friendship, and a touch of the otherworldly— blending heart-fluttering chemistry with a hint of magic.

Despite her rising fame, Baipor resists the notion that she has made it. “I’m not at the stage where I can say I’m successful,” she states simply. “I just really enjoy every day. What keeps me going are the people in this industry—my crew, my team.”

This humility, paired with curiosity, has made Baipor emblematic of Thailand’s new creative wave: a generation rewriting the country’s place on the global stage. “I feel honoured to represent this generation. We’re passionate, brave and full of energy,” she enthuses. “I believe in us a lot.”

When the topic turns to Thai beauty ideals, she does not hesitate. “I’m happy that diversity is becoming more understood,” she reflects. “For me, beauty isn’t really about what you see. It’s about how you feel. It’s everywhere, but sometimes, you just overlook it. The world changes so fast, but you can’t lose yourself in it. Believe in yourself sincerely.”

That quiet conviction extends to her personal style, which she describes as ever-evolving. “My style has changed a lot over the past few years. It’s now more mature, but still fun, with little details I adore,” she shares. “Chanel really shaped my style. It isn’t just a fashion house; it helped me get to know myself better.”

At her GRAZIA Singapore cover shoot, Baipor gravitated towards one look in particular: “I loved the black cover look from the Cruise 2026 collection! I felt so mature and sophisticated in it. I’ve never felt that great in black before,” she recalls with a wide smile.

Her current obsession? Fashion’s new creative energy. “The latest season is so inspiring,” she says. Referencing Chanel’s artistic director Matthieu Blazy’s debut collection for the French house for Spring/Summer 2026, she gushes: “He decoded all the codes of the house. The setting, the clothes…everything was just beyond.”

Off screen, Baipor’s world is quieter, filled with books, small rituals and moments that keep her grounded. “Books are my safe zone,” she says. “At the end of a tough day, they help me release all the bad energy.”

Her shelves are a stylish mix of film and fashion—think Sofia Coppola Archive next to Barbie: The World Tour, the glossy chronicle of the looks actress Margot Robbie wore on the press tour of the 2023 film Barbie, in which she plays the titular character—and her collection is one that keeps expanding, just like her curiosity.

When she is not lost in a book, Baipor finds balance elsewhere. “I give myself alone time—just lying in bed and reflecting. Or I try new things like Pilates or pottery. These help me stay locked in,” she says, expounding that navigating emotional highs and lows is not just essential to achieving that balance, but also a crucial part of being an actress.

Her maturity further comes through when she adds: “It’s so easy to get swept away by social media. Sometimes, we forget our identity. I just want people to remember their true selves—your identity is so important. It’s what allows you to create your own legacy.”

In an age of constant comparison, her clarity feels quietly radical, and it is clear that for Baipor, the legacy she is aiming to build is one underscored by honesty, intention and heart. “Whatever you’re obsessed with,” she says, “if it makes you happy, it’s worth it.”
