With our city’s perennially sunny skies, it’s easy to forget that autumn is just around the corner—but Uniqlo is here to remind us. The brand is marking the launch of their Fall/Winter 2025 Lifewear line with a limited-time pop-up promising a first look at the collection, a knitwear-inspired photobooth, and exclusive perks for attendees. Their upcoming collection interprets American East Coast style codes through a lens of innovation and simplicity, offering a mix of classic denims, cold-weather loungewear, and all-new PuffTech outerwear. Uniqlo’s minimalist basics are ubiquitous in Singapore, the staple food of our fashion smorgasbord, and this weekend’s pop-up serves to remind us why.

Uniqlo’s 2025 Fall/Winter Pop-up will run from 15–17 August at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road, Singapore 239007.

Close out your weekend with a taste of the Mediterranean in Chinatown, in true multi-cultural Singaporean fashion. Leila is the newest addition to Chinatown’s buzzing food scene along Teck Lim Road. The warmly lit, inviting new space draws inspiration from the Mediterranean and the Balkans in its menu, and the dishes promise an inventive blend of flavours, ranging from Moroccan sashimi to grilled shrimp over a green chilli tatbila sauce. The Kubana bread is said to be a particular standout, the warm brioche serving as a perfect vehicle to mop up sauces and spiced gravies.

Leila is located at 12 Teck Lim Road, Singapore 088390.
