On the final day of Wimbledon this weekend, Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to attend the men’s singles final.

The royals watched on in coordinating blue and white looks as Jannik Sinner of Italy took the title. Kate opted for a royal blue V-neck dress with bow detailing on one shoulder. The fluttery tea dress was accessorised with a wide brim straw hat featuring ribbon trim, from L.K. Bennett (when the sun came out), as well as Ralph Lauren pumps. The Princess of Wales added some glitz to the daytime ensemble with small Cartier hoops and a Daniella Draper diamond necklace.

Princess Charlotte took cues from her mother’s style, wearing a white summer dress with ruffled detailing on the front and shoulders. The midi number also featured black trim at the neckline and along the ruffles. The Princess paired the look with matching white ballet flats.

As for the father and son duo, both opted for sharp navy-blue looks. Prince William paired his navy blazer with off white pants and a white button down. Meanwhile Prince George wore a darker navy suit with a light blue button down. The family seem to have mastered the art of coordinating while still showing off individual flair.

This outing marks Middleton’s second appearance at Wimbledon this year, as a day earlier the Princess attended the women’s singles final. For this appearance she opted for a Self Portrait dress featuring a short-sleeved belted bodice over a pleated midi skirt. She accessorised with an Anya Hindmarch tote, and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps, as well as the same Cartier hoops.

On both occasions, as a patron of Wimbledon, Middleton wore a purple and green ribbon pin. She also presented the winners at both finals with their trophies.

These appearances mark Middleton’s return following her absence from William’s annual polo match on Friday. Earlier in the month, the Princess withdrew from this year’s Royal Ascot briefly before her scheduled appearance. Soon after she spoke on the delicate balance of royal duties and cancer recovery on a visit to Colchester Hospital.

“Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.”
