The first Monday in May is always fashion’s biggest night, but at the 2025 Met Gala, glamour wasn’t just sewn into the seams—it shimmered from wrists, necklines, and dangled from earlobes.

For many, the evening’s theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, meant showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces that transformed their looks from fashion-forward to downright unforgettable.

Who wore what? Please. It’s all about what they wore with it.

Rosé in Tiffany & Co

Blackpink’s Rosé stunned in a sharply tailored suit by Saint Laurent, brought to life with a masterpiece from Tiffany & Co’s Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue collection. Her high jewellery necklace featured vibrant Sri Lankan sapphires set in a design inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s love for the sea—a nod to both fluidity and power.

Anna Sawai in Cartier

Anna Sawai went for quiet drama, sporting the Cartier Baignoire Bangle À Pois in yellow gold, freckled with 76 diamonds. On her finger? A Cartier Collection ring from 1984—nicknamed the Eurydice ring—featuring a hexagonal sapphire and brilliant-cut diamonds. A study in elegance with an edge. And, of course, to pull her Dior suit together, she accessorised with the Santos de Cartier tie clip in 18k yellow gold and steel.

Halle Berry in Cartier

A vision in angles and abstraction, Halle Berry lit up the steps of the Met in Cartier’s new En Équilibre high jewellery set, featuring the Tsagaan necklace and earrings. Named after the elusive snow leopard (tsagaan bars) of Mongolia, the necklace’s design is pure Cartier: bold geometry, hidden imagery, and a masterful tension between presence and mystery. Composed of 18k white gold, onyx, and diamonds, including a 3.51-carat lozenge-cut and a 2.55-carat kite-shaped stone, the necklace plays with light and shadow—revealing a feline form that vanishes depending on the viewer’s angle. It took 1,336 hours to create, and every minute shows.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Bvlgari

Priyanka Chopra Jonas dialed up the contrast with a record-breaking 241-carat emerald necklace by Bvlgari—the largest ever set by the house. Debuting ahead of its official high jewellery showcase in Italy, the piece marked a monumental moment in Bvlgari history.

Rihanna in Cartier

Leave it to Rihanna to make time look like a treasure. Tucked beneath her large red necktie, she wore a Cartier high jewellery sautoir combining jewellery and horology in one glittering statement: a pendant-watch in 18k white gold and diamonds, crowned by a 10.36-carat pear-shaped diamond. The watch hides in plain sight within an octagonal case, pivoting to keep its secrets close (fitting, given that one of Riri’s own was revealed that night: the announcement of her third pregnancy). A 3.52-carat diamond graces the reverse side, and the whole piece converts—because why not?—into a bracelet and short necklace combo. She finished the look with a Cartier Collection brooch from 1925, proving that true style is timeless.

A$AP Rocky in Bulgari

Co-chair A$AP Rocky brought his signature blend of swagger and sophistication, pairing sharp tailoring with two Bulgari showstoppers. Around his neck: the Eternal Ruby necklace, anchored by a never-before-seen 12.29-carat drop-shaped ruby and flanked by 22 brilliant diamonds. Pinned to his lapel: a pink gold brooch with a 15.34-carat cushion-cut peridot, rubellites, and diamonds—both pieces set to debut later this month at Bulgari’s high jewellery presentation in Taormina, Italy. On his wrist? The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC—the world’s thinnest mechanical chronometer at just 1.70mm thick. Superfine, indeed.

Henry Golding in Cartier

Henry Golding delivered understated opulence with the Cartier Privé Tank à Guichets in yellow gold—a coveted timepiece revived in 2025 that nods to its 1928 origin. The minimalist jumping hour and dragging minute windows, tone-matched to a sleek alligator strap, proved that quiet luxury can still turn heads.

Seventeen’s leader S.Coups hit the carpet in Piaget’s Haute Horlogerie Polo Chronograph, delivering sporty elegance with a haute twist. It was a fitting choice for the K-pop star’s first Met Gala, aligning performance with precision.

Jeremy Allen White in Jaeger-LeCoultre

The Bear star Jeremy Allen White brought dapper minimalism to the Met with a pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Small Seconds. A quintessential nod to Art Deco aesthetics, the timepiece’s clean lines and subtle sophistication rounded out his sharply tailored look.

Colman Domingo in Boucheron and Omega

As a co-chair and one of the night’s best-dressed men, Colman Domingo pulled from Boucheron’s archives for a regal finishing touch. His look was accented with the house’s iconic Quatre ring, a ruby cocktail stunner, and the Serpent Bohème Solarité Asymmetrical Stud Earring, which brought a flash of asymmetry and edge to his otherwise classic ensemble. On his wrist is an unreleased Omega Speedmaster watch in 18K gold.

Ayo Edebiri in Cartier

Ayo Edebiri paid homage to Cartier’s heritage with a suite of vintage treasures. She wore 1968 yellow gold clip earrings and a 1966 ruby-and-enamel brooch from the Cartier Collection, plus a 1997 mystery pocket watch in yellow gold and crystal. A Clash de Cartier ring in rose gold and chrysoprase anchored the look, adding a contemporary hit of colour and cool.

Grace Wales Bonner in Cartier

Designer Grace Wales Bonner opted for restraint with resonance, donning the Pluie de Cartier necklace—raindrops in platinum and diamonds—and Réflection de Cartier earrings in white gold. The look shimmered with thoughtfulness and intention, just like the designer herself.

Miranda Kerr in Tiffany & Co

Model and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr radiated timeless glamour in over 50 carats of diamonds from Tiffany & Co’s 2024 Blue Book Collection. Her necklace—crafted in platinum and 18k yellow gold—featured 47 carats of diamonds, complemented by coordinating earrings of equally jaw-dropping scale.

Caleb McLaughlin in Zenith

Celebrating 160 years of precision and panache, Zenith made a stylish statement at the Met Gala with actor and all-round tastemaker Caleb McLaughlin. Best known for Stranger Things—but clearly no stranger to red carpet aura—McLaughlin wore the DEFY Skyline Sapphire: a 41mm showstopper that’s part fine watch, part jewel box flex. Wrapped in stainless steel and crowned with a dodecagonal bezel set with 45 baguette-cut blue sapphires, the timepiece features a metallic blue sunray-patterned dial, complete with Zenith’s iconic four-pointed star—a subtle nod to celestial timing and star power alike.

Four-time WNBA All-Star and New York Liberty powerhouse Jonquel Jones turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala in true statement style. The Bahamian basketball phenom sported the Hublot Big Bang Original Steel White Pavé 38mm—a dazzling blend of boldness and brilliance that proves she’s just as unstoppable off the court.
