It’s not everyday you hear about an aesthetic treatment that claims to be loved by Korean celebrities. In February, I came across some news that the hottest new treatment in Seoul was finally arriving in Singapore, courtesy of Multifrax Asia. Naturally, my interest as a beauty enthusiast was piqued—what’s this treatment that the K-beauty industry swears by, and is it worth it?
The treatment in question is Titanium Lifting, a non-invasive aesthetic procedure that promises to completely change the way we view beauty treatments. After doing some research, I found out that Korean stars like Seol In-Ah regularly tap this K-beauty hack to maintain their radiant appearances. This comes as no surprise, since Titanium Lifting supposedly requires no downtime at all and takes less than an hour to complete—a great perk for us working girls.
Here is everything you need to know about my experiences with Titanium Lifting, and whether it’s a treatment worth the buck.
What Titanium Lifting Is
Titanium Lifting is essentially a skin-tightening treatment that uses triple-wavelength laser technology to firm up. It’s hailed as an all-in-one BTS treatment, given that it promises to brighten, tighten and slim the face all at once. The treatment itself just takes about 20 minutes, which is remarkably quick for a treatment that accomplishes so much. With a cooling metal tool repetitively applied to the skin’s surface, the lasers penetrate multiple layers of skin at once. The key here is the doctor’s precise hand, which will gently sculpt and target key “problem” areas of your face to provide you with a lifted appearance even after the first session.
The Procedure
I had my treatments done at The Aesthetics Studio Clinic & Surgery in Orchard. Dr. Jonathan Lee was more than professional throughout the session. Beyond talking to me through the treatment process, he also prompted me each step of the way. The treatment begins at a lower intensity and slowly gears up throughout the 20 minutes.
Personally my “problem” areas lay in my cheeks. Naturally, my jowls are heavier than the rest of my face, and Dr. Lee immediately knew which area was most important to work on. He also targeted my chin and neck area, for that sculpted V-shape face that K-beauty is known for. Just FYI, Dr. Lee personally flew to Korea to learn more about and assess the Titanium Lifting treatment before he started to offer the service in his clinic.
For those who fretting about the pain level from the procedure, let me put your mind at ease. The pain is definitely manageable (especially given the short treatment time), but if you so wish, you can request for some numbing cream to be applied before starting. This helps to dull the heat and zaps from the lasers—but doesn’t eliminate all the discomfort.
The Result

Before the treatment even began, the nurses and assistants at the clinic guided me to take some photos of my face, both with a camera and 360º skin analysing AURA machine. This machine can look beyond the surface level and can pinpoint more specific areas. The same photo-taking is conducted after the treatment as well, so you can see immediately for yourself the results of Dr. Lee’s hard work.
After my first session, there was no denying that my face appeared slimmer and more sculpted. My cheeks were also looking a little less loose. What truly surprised me was the glow that I observed right after. My skin was clearer and more radiant than before. My friends even commented on the dewiness of my skin after the treatment.

I also noticed a marked difference in the pigmentation of my skin. There was less redness and more uniformity across my entire face.
My second session which took place about a month after the first showed even more visible improvements of my facial structure. My face looked brighter and more balanced. Plus, I felt that after my subsequent session, the results of Dr. Lee’s sculpting became even more obvious.
Key Things To Note
One thing I will say is that this treatment might not be suitable for photosensitive folk. Since this is ultimately still a laser treatment on the face, the bright lights still surprised me a little, even during my second session. Of course, Dr. Lee protected my eyes with a cover, but it was still jarring at times.
The treatment is also not pain-free. Yes, the discomfort is not intense and can be managed. But for those who are more sensitive to pain on the face, this procedure, albeit non-invasive, can still prove to be slightly challenging to sit through.
Titanium Lifting is available at seven clinics islandwide, including at The Aesthetic Studio Clinic & Surgery. Prices may vary at individual clinics.
