Dior will officially kick off Paris Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2025 presentation—and it will be a star-studded affair. As of writing, Thai celebrities Kimberley Anne Woltemas and Apo Nattawin have been spotted on their way to the French fashion capital, as well as Korean actor Nam Joo-Hyuk and, of course, Blackpink’s Jisoo.
We have an idea of who we will see on the front row of the fashion show, but what about on the runway itself? On Instagram, Dior offers a teaser video featuring creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri touring the Louvre Museum. The fashion designer is especially interested in an ancient Roman statue of Diana, the Roman counterpart to the Greek goddess, Artemis, who ruled over the hunt and the moon.
Greek goddesses and the ancient Roman and Grecian dresses are familiar inspirations for Maria Grazia Chiuri—we have seen her work toga dresses and column gowns and pleated designs into her collections for Dior, whose themes often relate to female empowerment.
