Whether you’re all about soft touches or wild details, the looks of this season invite you to try it all, and love the process. Keep on reading to find out which trends have been living rent-free in our minds, and find out how best to imitate the work seen on the runway.

Deep Dive

Take your cue from the likes of Fendi, JW Anderson, Max Mara and Tory Burch, and tap on a severe side part to make a chic statement—one that also gives the illusion of a more slender face. Keep the line clean and sharp to lend sophisticated elegance to any ensemble.

BRIOGEO Style + Treat Yuzu + Plum Oil Sleek Stick, $38, Sephora

GRAZIA Tip: Take that extra minute in the morning to smooth down those pesky flyaways with a hair wax stick—keeping the side part sleek will elevate the look.

Doll Face

Brands still favoured a fresh complexion, but glass skin (as showcased by Ludovic de Saint Sernin and others) was no longer the only game in town. A soft matte look with a subtle glow (as at Chloé, Coach and Fendi), reminiscent of the flawless “skin” of vintage porcelain dolls, also took over the runways. Achieving this look is all about keeping the base clean, so let your contouring and bronzing products take a breather. Depending on your skin type, opt for a fluid foundation or a powder with a moisturising formula, with a luminous, silky matte finish. Top with a pearlescent highlighter or illuminating loose powder to push the radiance just a little more.

GIVENCHY BEAUTY Prisme Libre Loose Powder in 00 Tulle Opalescent, $103

GRAZIA Tip: Use a small fluffy brush to gingerly tap on a light‑reflecting loose powder to add more dimension to your look.

Make A Splash

Wet‑look hair ruled the runways once again, but came with a distinctly artful touch this season, what with Valentino’s sculptural finger waves and Prada’s futuristic looped buns. Etro even imbued the high‑shine, neatly combed‑back look with rebellious edge, teaming it with an extreme side part artistically styled so a few tendrils of hair fall across the face from one side to the other. A fine‑toothed comb and a strong‑hold hair gel are your best friends when taking on this trend.

ORIBE Hair Alchemy Heatless Styling Balm, $66, available in select salons

GRAZIA Tip: After getting the desired look, set the style on lock with a hydrating, anti‑humidity hairspray. After all your hard work, it’s only right that it lasts all day.

Go Dark

Raise the bar on your eye game by taking up the season’s penchant for inky, dramatic makeup in the area. The best part? There are no restrictions on style—be it intensely smoky (seen at Prabal Gurung), heavily rimmed (Givenchy), or precisely drawn bold or feathered wings (Erdem and Jason Wu respectively). The key here is to achieve as intense a look as possible, to keep all eyes squarely on you.

HUDA BEAUTY Creamy Kohl Longwear Eye Pencil in Very Vanta, $32, Sephora

GRAZIA Tip: Opt for kohl or pencil liners over liquid ones. They’re easier to control—no more shaky lines!—and more versatile, allowing you to create both thin and bold lines with ease. They’re also great for smudging.

Bleach Blonde

Near‑invisible brows were big on the runways, with Chanel, Marine Serre, Schiaparelli and more sending their models out with barely there arches—all the better for playing up the eyes, or setting the stage for a pristine, coolly ethereal aesthetic. Not for the faint‑hearted, this edgy, high‑fashion look is best worn with an attitude to match.

KOSAS Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel in Taupe‑Cool Blonde, $38, Sephora

GRAZIA Tip: If you’re not ready to commit full‑time to blonde brows, reach for a light tinted brow mascara instead. Carefully combing upwards, coat each strand in the direction of its natural growth for the best coverage.

Bling It

Face gems added a literal sparkle to the runways this season, with most brands choosing to focus the dazzle on the eye area. Minimalist (à la Thom Browne and Christian Cowan, whose models sported smatterings of tiny crystals around the eyes) or maximalist (think the fully rhinestone‑rimmed eyes at Vivetta) is entirely up to you. Don’t be afraid to play with colours—be they complementary or contrasting—and let your imagination run wild with creative placements.

COLOURPOP Holographic Individual Face Jewels, US$8 (about S$11)

GRAZIA Tip: Apply your face gems before foundation for maximum longevity and wipe them clean with a cotton bud after removal to keep the twinkle going.
