CL To Perform In Singapore For Waterbomb Festival

If you’re an OG K-pop fan, you definitely know who CL is. There’s no doubt that the iconic K-pop singer who originated as a part of quartet 2NE1 in 2009 is still very much on the forefront of the music scene, having consistently come out with solo albums even after the group’s disbandment in 2016 (though the group just debuted newly shot images to celebrate their 15-year anniversary). Now, the 33-year-old will be in Singapore this August for the local leg of the Waterbomb Festival, one of South Korea’s leading international music festivals.

Meryl Streep’s Honorary Palme d’Or At The 2024 Cannes Film Festival

The 2024 edition of the Cannes Film Festival just began this week on Tuesday, and while the festival is already in full swing, it was what happened on Day 1 that we think is truly unforgettable. Veteran actor Meryl Streep—whom all of us in the fashion realm love and adore for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada and Mamma Mia—received an honorary Palme d’Or as presented by French star Juliette Binoche. The 74-year-old actor appeared teary-eyed and overcome with emotion, as she received the prestigious award on stage on 14 May.

Park Gyu-young, Lee Know And Other Celebs At Gucci’s Cruise 2025 Show

This week, Italian luxury fashion house Gucci held its Cruise 2025 fashion presentation in London, at the historic Tate Modern Museum. In attendance were many major stars including Lee Know from K-pop boy band Stray Kids, Thai actor Davika Hoorne and South Korean actor Park Gyu-young. Of course, other notable faces at the front row of the show included Solange Knowles, Debbie Harry, Mustafa The Poet and Daisy Edgar-Jones.

Kim Ji-Won In Singapore For Bulgari’s Perfume Launch

Making her way to Singapore specially for the launch of Bulgari’s latest fragrance was South Korean actor Kim Ji-won. The star, who most recently took the world by storm with her leading role in K-drama Queen Of Tears alongside Kim Soo-hyun, arrived at Sentosa to celebrate the debut of the newest Bulgari Allegra parfum: Chill & Sole. At the event, the actress showed up to impress in a pastel pink mini dress for an elevated beachy look, to encapsulate the summery feels of the citrusy, seaside-inspired Chill & Sole fragrance.

Acne Studios just opened their newest flagship store in Beijing this week, and guess who made an appearance at the event? It was none other than Johnny from K-pop group NCT. The 29-year-old attended the event in a fun reconstructed double denim look, complete with faux paint splatter spots and key chains. Also at the Swedish brand’s Beijing flagship store opening were Chinese actors Sandra Ma and Huang Jue.

Aespa’s New Upcoming Album Armageddon

One of the leading girl groups in K-pop right now is Aespa, the quartet comprising Karina, Ningning, Winter and Giselle. In anticipation of their first ever full-length album Armageddon, the group has been treating MYs (as their fans are known) to many different aesthetics. Talk about experimental! We’ve been loving all the different concepts that the group is venturing into for this comeback, especially the over-the-top outfits that they’ve showcased for the track Supernova’s music video. Armageddon will be released on 27 May, at 5PM (Singapore time).
