As much as we love a good weekend staying indoors and binging an entire season of ‘insert your comfort show of choice‘, another weekend wasted away rotting in bed isn’t exactly the most exciting thing on the roster. In the spirit of carpe diem, we think it’s about time to seize the day, get out there, and make memories to remember your days by. Of course, we have a few things in mind to fill your weekend schedule with—considering it’s mid-autumn weekend, it might just be the perfect time to hit up these spots with your loved ones, friends or family. From fashion friendly flea markets to holistic viewings, there’s bound to be something that’ll pique your fancy outside the confines of your own home.
Whether or not you’re the mood to kick back and enjoy a chill weekend or turning things up as a creature of the night, we see you—below, find all the events and happenings this weekend that you should check out.
Aesop’s Khronos
Yes, we’re obsessed with Aesop. But who isn’t? If you’re not convinced of the brand’s cult-status and its minimalist philosophy, it may be worth checking out the inaugural skincare-centric pop-up in Singapore at Fort Canning Park. Titled “Khronos: A Skin Odyssey”, the pop-up is set to grace our shores from September 29th to October 8th, offering an artistic installation that delves into the intrinsic link between one’s skin, inner essence, and the surrounding environment through immersive journeys featuring design workshops, activities, and sensory experiences of Aesop’s products.

Sing Along To All Your Pop Favourites In &Juliet
To be or not to be? &Juliet, the musical certainly explores the age old question as our titular female protagonist swaps out her tragic ending with a fateful exploration of life and its many challenges. The Tony-nominated musical has finally hit Singapore, and we can say with confidence that it’s a guaranteed 2-hours filled with nostalgic covers of classic pop-hits. No spoilers here, but let’s just say that you’ll be biting back the urge to sing along.

Party By The Campfire With Syndicate SG
As one of the only 2 surviving dragon kilns in Singapore (there used to be around 20 in existence), Mud Rock Ceramics celebrates their 10th Anniversary of sharing the craft of mud and clay through community experiences. The weeklong event, which started on the 27th of September hosted a string of workshops and masterclasses with clay artisans hailing from all corners of the world. For those looking for a more laid back time without the pressure of working one-on-one with master claymakers, perhaps attending the closing party of Clay Camp may be the perfect first introduction to the art form. Featuring a DJ lineup from music collective Syndicate, a guided tour of the dragon kiln along with live firing demos, the party will be taking place in the wild—so remember to bring your camping chairs and furry friends for a good time filled with s’mores, chocolate and great live music.

Stay In The Loop At Paris Fashion Week
If you haven’t been keeping tabs on Paris Fashion Week, the weekend’s probably the best time to catch up on all the latest runway looks and celebrity appearances. Some highlights of the season so far? The girls of Blackpink showing up to Dior and Saint Laurent, Jun Takahashi’s fantastical showing of light-up frocks at the Undercover show, and Shalom Harlow’s opening at Schiaparelli to name a few. If you’ve yet to see the looks shown, be sure to check out some of GRAZIA’s takes on the Spring/Summer 2024 season, and if you’ve got some time to spare on 30 September, we say a cozy night in would consist of good food, good company, and a side of Hermes—so tune in at 8:30pm (Singapore time) to catch a glimpse of the show in real time.
