Milan Fashion Week may be over with the blink of an eye, but it was nothing short of a spectacle. This season marked a new era for the Italian houses as we witnessed the debut shows of Peter Hawkings’ Tom Ford and Sebato De Sarno’s renewal of Gucci. While the fashion world embraced new beginnings, bittersweet farewells were also in order, as Walter Chiapponi presented his final collection for Tod’s and Fabio Zambernardi took a bow at his final show as Design Director at Prada. Versace’s ode to the 60s while referencing the sensibilities of 90’s minimalism was a slick celebration of retrofuturism, while Diesel’s denim creations—this time presented in shreds, was a rave-ready parade of ensembles set to take over our Instagram feeds.
The catwalk may be the main event of the season, but there’s no denying the star power that comes with the occasion. Turning our attention to the front row, Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny made their fashion week hard launch at the Gucci Show seated next to Anna Wintour. The duo’s impeccable sense of style was on full display, as Jenner donned a classic trench coat, while Bad Bunny matched her stride for stride with a beige beanie, paired with a white collared button-down shirt, and blue jeans. Speaking of the Jenners, Kylie made an appearance at the Prada show, layering a miniskirt of crystals, over a classic LBD.
All the way from Singapore, Yoyo Cao graced the Sportmax show with her stunning presence, turning heads with her bold and daring fashion choices. It wouldn’t be fashion week without the gracing of K-pop idols—boy group ENHYPHEN made a stealthy appearance at Prada, while Mun Kayoung graced Dolce & Gabbana in an angelic gown.
