At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.
Here, content creator Asiyha Ams (@asyihaams) shares some of her lasts.
The last beauty product I finished was the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Peel ($151). Good for acne-prone skin like mine as it has AHAs!
The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($39) which always makes my face look fresh and luminous! A good on-the-go blusher: I use it for my cheeks, eyelids and lips.
The last beauty product I bought was the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($48). For minimal makeup days, this is one of my must-haves. It covers my under-eye and blemishes so well with just one dot.
The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration was one of Sofia Richie Grange. Her makeup is so simple yet so beautiful. Sometimes less is more!
The last beauty product I bought again was the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm ($61). I fell in love with this product the first time I tried it as it’s gentle on the skin. It’s so satisfying to see all my makeup melting away!
The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was the GHD Curve Soft Curl Tong ($334) which gives you a natural curl without harming your hair!
The last beauty product I made a holy grail was the Estée Lauder Advanced Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum ($252). My skin is very dry and sensitive and this serum works wonders in keeping it hydrated and moisturised both in the day and night.
The last beauty product I gifted someone was Tom Ford Beauty’s Electric Cherry Eau de Parfum ($610). I personally love the smell of cherry and you can use it both day and night! I gifted it to my best friend and she loves it.
The last beauty product that truly impressed me was the Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Waterproof Mascara ($53). It does help with lengthening my lashes, no doubt and is by far the best mascara I’ve tried.
The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was to my friends that concealers sometimes give a better finish than foundation. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer ($51) for full-face glam and I’ve had plenty of people praising me for it. The fun part about it is that you can control the coverage whether you’d like light, medium or even full coverage. You should try it!
