From 11 to 14 July, the annual Amundi Evian Championship returns for its 30th edition, and as the women’s golf tournament’s main partner and official timekeeper since 2000, Rolex brings its commitment to women’s sport to the forefront.

The only golf Major that’s staged in continental Europe, and the fifth women’s Major championship since 2013, the Amundi Evian Championship has taken place every July at the Evian Resort Golf Club, located between Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Past champions include celebrated athletes such as Annika Sörenstam, Anna Nordqvist, Suzann Pettersen, Lydia Ko and Brooke Henderson—all professional golfers who have appeared on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

This year also marks the return of The Prize for a Better Tomorrow presented by Rolex, an international prize first awarded in 2019. The prize celebrates initiatives with major societal impact that promote qualities aligned with Rolex’s: excellence, generosity, continuity and inspiration. The inaugural winner was former golf pro and Rolex Testimonée Lorena Ochoa, whose Lorena Ochoa Golf Foundation supports children and adults through family-based health, education and inclusion programmes.
